Alarm.Com Hosts Signing Day Event to Mark Launch of First ‘Go Virginia' Funded Apprenticeship Program on Feb. 21

Alarm.com is launching a new Apprenticeship program, the first under the state's original ‘GO Virginia' initiative. It is part of the company's commitment to creating employment and professional education opportunities for aspiring technology workers in Fairfax County and Virginia. The initial Alarm.com apprentices will be introduced and sign their Letter of Intent at an event on Feb. 21 hosted by Alarm.com, in partnership with Virginia's Chief Workforce Development Advisor Dr. Megan Healy, Northern Virginia Community College, and the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority.

The representatives will discuss talent acquisition efforts and the growing demand for on-the-job learning experiences and technical education to develop the next generation of technology experts. They, along with the ten initial Alarm.com apprentices, will be available for photos and individual interviews immediately following the event.
